Writing Docs

ContextOwl stores articles as Markdown. You can write in the rich editor or switch to Markdown when you need direct control.

Create an article

1. Open Admin > Content.
2. Select + NEW ARTICLE to open the composer.
3. Add a title.
4. Write the body.
5. Save the draft.
6. Place it in the sidebar when it should appear in navigation.

Good page shape

Use this structure for most docs:

• What this page helps the reader do
• Requirements
• Steps
• Expected result
• Troubleshooting or next steps

Images

Upload images from the editor. ContextOwl stores the asset and inserts the Markdown reference for you.

Revisions

Content changes create revisions. Use revisions to inspect previous versions or restore content when a change should be rolled back.

Locks

You can open any page to read it. ContextOwl takes an edit lock only when you start editing, so teammates do not overwrite each other's work.
