Getting Started

ContextOwl is a documentation app for teams that need public docs, private drafts, review controls, and agent access in one place.

Quick start

1. Sign in or create an account.
2. Create an organization for your team.
3. Create a workspace for one product, API, or internal handbook.
4. Add your first article from the composer.
5. Publish the article when it is ready.
6. Invite teammates from Admin.

Core concepts

• Organization: the team, billing, members, SSO, and domains.
• Workspace: one documentation site inside an organization.
• Article: one Markdown page with status, revisions, and optional access controls.
• Sidebar: the ordered navigation tree for a workspace.
• Agent key: a scoped token for MCP and API access.

Recommended first page

Start with a short "Welcome" page that answers three questions:

• What is this product or docs space for?
• Who should read it?
• Where should readers go next?
